How fun is it to tear paper and get messy in class? We created a self portrait using nothing but construction paper and our hands. This was very frustrating for some because it was not going to be perfect. It was a great lesson on letting go and trying our best. After creating our portrait we read a story about celebrating similarities and differences. We then paired up to find a way we are similar to our classmates.
